01

Make the assortment readable

Organise coffee names and information in a consistent order. Customers should be able to compare origin, processing method, roast profile and tasting notes without searching across unrelated signs.

02

Create a clear service sequence

The display should lead naturally from choosing a coffee to dispensing, weighing and packaging. Place scales, bags and labels where they support that sequence rather than creating crossing paths.

03

Balance visibility and reach

A tall display creates impact but every operating control must remain accessible. Review the layout from the customer's eye level and the operator's reach range.

04

Use finish consistently

Chrome, gold and copper each create a different relationship with the surrounding interior. The finish should coordinate with the equipment and material palette without reducing label readability.

05

Design for change

Coffee assortments change. Use replaceable product information and a stable silo numbering system so new origins can be introduced without rebuilding the complete display.

06

Support the physical display digitally

A QR bean passport or digital menu can provide detailed origin information that does not fit on the primary label. The physical label should still communicate the essential selection information.

07

Plan lighting without adding heat

Use lighting to make the coffee and information legible, but keep high-heat sources and direct sunlight away from the chambers. Test reflections on Chrome, Gold and Copper finishes from the customer's viewing position before finalising the lighting angle.

08

Measure the display after launch

Track sales, refill frequency and customer questions by position. The pattern shows whether the assortment is understandable, which coffees justify permanent silo space and where labels or staff guidance need improvement.
